Start with a graham cracker crust in a springform pan.

Follow the next ingredients in exact order:
cream 2 8oz packages of cream cheese
add 1 cup sugar and mix well
add 4 eggs, one at a time, mix well
add 1 tsp vanilla, mix
add 2 cups of sour cream, mix

Bake 30 minutes at 350, then turn off oven and leave cheesecake in oven for one more hour. DO NOT open the oven until the hour is up.

Serve with fresh strawberries or drizzle with melted chocolate and caramel.
