Cooking spray
2 cups flour
1 cup oats
1/4 cup plus 2 tbs granulated sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup cold unsalted butter (1 stick) cut into cubes
3/4 cup milk
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup toasted chopped pecans
2 tsp cinnamon
3/4 cup powdered sugar
3 tsp milk
Heat oven to 425, Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray.
In a large bowl, combine flour, oats, 1/4 cup sugar, baking powded, and salt; mix well. Cut in butter using two forks until the mixture looks like course crumbs, do not overwork.
In a small bowl combine milk, egg, and vanilla. Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour the milk mixture into it. Mix just until combined.
In a small bowl combine remaining sugar, pecans, and cinnamon. Pour over dough and swirl in. Drop dough onto cookie sheet, about 1/4 cup per scone. Bake for 11-13 minutes. Let cool.
Mix powdered suger and milk until smooth; drizzle over cooled scones.
