Arroz con Pollo - Chicken & RicePopular

This is a classic dish popular in many Hispanic cuisines. It is an easy-to-prepare one pot meal combining rice and chicken with onions and peppers

Goya Adobo All-Purpose Seasoning with Pepper
1 3 1/2 - 4 lb. chicken, cut in pieces
3 tbsp. olive oil
3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
1 cup diced onion
3/4 cup diced green pepper
1 packet Goya Sazón with Coriander and Annatto
1 packet Goya Cubitos - Powdered Chicken Bouillon
3 cups water
1-1/2 cups Long Grain Rice

Garnish:
Pimiento, cut in strips

1.Shake Adobo on chicken pieces. In a large pot, heat oil on medium. Cook chicken until brown on both sides.

2.Stir in minced garlic, onion and green pepper and cook for 5 minutes until vegetables are tender.

3.Stir in water, Sazón and cubitos. Raise heat, and bring to a boil.

4.Add the rice and stir. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 25 minutes or until rice is tender.

5.Fluff rice and garnish with pimiento strips.
