Mom served this every Christmas! 

200 small marshmallows
6oz semisweet chocolate
1/2 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 cup walnuts
1 tsp vanilla

Freeze 100 marshmallows

Place chocolate and butter in a large bowl and set aside.

Combine sugar, 100 marshmallows, and milk in
a heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil and continue to
boil for 5 min. stirring continuously. Pour over butter and chocolate, stir until well blended and
slightly thickened. Add nuts, vanilla, and frozen
marshmallows. Pour into a lightly greased 9 inch
pan. Chill until firm.
